About Us

Here is a little bit about the people who make UnboxIt what it is. We are a group of students from Ottawa, Canada studying at the Sprott School of Business. We created this business to help people in the covid-19 pandemic and beyond. Our mission is to help people from home. We do this by providing products to work on self-care and to stay occupied in various activities during the pandemic. Our products can get you up and moving or at the very at least away from a screen.

Rory, Co-Founder

I am a fourth year student concentrating in supply chain management. I have always been passionate about e-commerce and was happy to use this time to make my dream of owning a business a reality. I love doing anything that keeps me active or outside. I love working out, running, skiing and horseback riding.

Yijie,

I am a fourth-year student at Carleton University. I come from a city in China called Suzhou and people there are known to be business people, and I have grown up in such a strong commercial atmosphere. So I always want to start my own business and make it successful. As a native speaker of Mandarin, I have not only learned English but also Korean and Japanese. I love to learn new languages and cultures of other countries and I think it would help my business.

Ryan, Co-Founder

I am also a fourth year student at Carleton University with a specialization in supple chain management. I have also dreamed of creating my own business and give back to the community. I have work experience with both Amazon and Costco and try to incorporate these into every business I am involved with. You can find me either hiking with my dog or trying to cook new things in my spare time.
